WHAT IS A MUNICIPAL LEASE?
Municipal / Government Financing and Leasing uses special provisions (called non–appropriation clauses) to give government divisions the ability to sign a multiple year lease while only committing funds through the current fiscal year. They feature an attractive tax–exempt interest rate similar to the financing of a municipal bond.
THE PROCESS:
First, we will review the municipal credit. Then the lease agreement is emailed, faxed or expressed to you. Once the lease agreement is completed and returned, the funds are paid to your vendor within one business day of your confirmation. At the end of the lease, you own the equipment with no other costs.
